What Made My Month (March 2019)

Oh my God! Hi guys! Can you believe that we are already through with the first quarter of the year? Like whoa! 2019, can you like slow down a little? What’s the rush? Anyhow, how are you all doing. My March was pretty okay, I guess. There were definitely “highs” and there weren’t any real “lows” so that was awesome. Life still feels like it is on a standstill but I’m getting by. I’m still holding on to hope that things will get better.

So, like what I do every month, I’ll be sharing the things which made my month. And here we go!

1. More Animes

Just a list of animes I watched and rewatched this March. I’m planning to watch Magic Knight Rayearth after I finish Akazukin Chacha. Haha. This is my life now but who’s complaining?

1.1. Cells at Work

I recommend this to everyone but most especially to fellow Bio geeks out there! You’ll definitely spazz over every single scientific details in this anime. I’m in love!

1.2. Gakuen Babysitters

If you want to watch something light and heartwarming this is for you. It’s honestly the most wholesome thing I have ever watched in my entire life. It’s so touching that you will just cry at the pureness of this anime.

1.3. Cardcaptor Sakura

Come on! Who doesn’t know Sakura? I decided to rewatch it because I was going to watch the Clear Card-hen. Still so good. Nothing less from my favorite childhood anime.

1.4. Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc

Oh my God! My heart! If Syaoran and Sakura is your otp you need to watch this and fall in love with Syaoran even more. Second season please!

1.5. Cinderella Monogatari

Prince Charles! If I remember it right, in the tagalized version of this, he is called Prinsipe Lenard. Diba??? Ah. Nostalgic!

1.6. Akazukin Chacha

I’m still currently rewatching this one. This anime is just really entertaining. As in walang episode na di ka matatawa. Haha. I love Seravy!

2. My Bestfriend’s Wedding

Yep! My best friend got married. When I saw her walking the aisle, I really got teary-eyed. Parang huuuuy.

We’ve known each other for more than half of our lives. And I’m just so happy to be there for her on that important and pivotal moment of her life.

3. The Phantom of the Opera

My sister and I watched The Phantom of the Opera last March 24 and it was beautiful. Raoul and Christine has my heart. It was my second theater experience and an international production at that. Ah! Actually, there are so many good productions now and I wish I have the money to support every show but alas! I’m poor! I really want to rewatch “Ang Huling El Bimbo” and see all the changes they did. I heard that it has improved vastly from its first run. And I’ve been hearing nothing but praises for “Angels in America”. “Eto na! Musikal nAPO” had a rerun as well. It’s really exciting that the Filipino theater is thriving! And I wish I can support it as much as I can.

4. Fireball

Apparently, this thing I wrote in here was an actual fireball. Found out after almost two years. I didn’t know fireballs were that of a big deal before but it seems like they are. The one I saw was even a special type of fireball called “bolide” which explodes in the atmosphere. Isn’t that cool?

5. Sing to Me Instead by Ben Platt

Oh boy! Last March 29, Ben Platt released his first solo album called “Sing to Me Instead” and I swear it is a gift from the Heavens. It is a very beautiful album with such soulful songs. “Grow as We Go” and “Run Away” keeps on making me cry. I don’t understand how he can write such beautiful songs. What a talented human being.

Do you guys have any idea how fulfilling it was to finally finish reading a book after almost 6 months of not being able to? It felt really amazing. Like I finally broke out of the water and I finally got to breathe lungfuls of air. It felt like I’ve been saved. Haha.

How was your March everyone?
