Art Dump: October 2018

Hi guys! Long time no art dump. I’m still sort of in a slump but fortunately I was able to make a couple of artworks this month. I basically had to force myself. I kind of figured out that to fight unproductivity you must continue producing things. Does that make sense?

Anyway. Kept it simple and light this time because it felt like I haven’t painted in ages so I felt so rusty and I didn’t want to put too much pressure on myself to create something really good.

The Lady Gaga. Decided to paint her as Ally in A Star is Born. Have you watched the film? If not, please do yourself a favor and watch it. She is amazing. And Bradley Coooper as well. Ah. I love it.

Also. New paper. I have always seen watercolorists use Hahnemühle paper and they love it so I decided to finally give it a try. It works really well I must say. Not bad for my first try.

Found a photo in Pinterest that I have always said that I would paint. Here it is now. Still wasn’t able to capture the harsh shadows on his face which I adore but we’ll get there.

That’s it for October. I will be working on some Christmas presents soon so I probably wouldn’t post another Art Dump this coming November. But we’ll see. Maybe I would still be able to do some studies. Hee! Bye!
